Chinese Language & Culture Immersion Summer Camp

June 7-July 6, 2020, Hefei, Anhui Province, China

Proud Culture Exchange together with Hefei No 6 High School and AnHui Oversea Office had successfully organizing a summer camp in Hefei in summer 2019, in 2020 we are team up with another private school in capital city of Anhui province to give summer campers a even better learning and culture immersion experiences. The program will provide USA students (age 10 & up) the opportunity to experience first-hand Chinese culture and study Chinese in native environment.

• Students will be paired with Chinese students from hosting school
• Stay in the host family from hosting school of similar-age Chinese student
• Morning Chinese learning session held in class setting, afternoon will be mingled with local students in varies culture/game/playing activities
• Opportunity for social/volunteer work over weekend, parks, museum and historic sites visit
• Our staff members will be stationed at Hefei to address needs of our student 24/7
• Based on our previous experiences, students participated in four weeks camp had best outcome
• There will be a 5 days culture trip at the end of the camp to the beautiful Yellow Mountain and historical Hong Village in AnHui

The program cost $1500 all inclusive (flight tickets and high-speed train not included). $100 registration fee/Family will be waived for early registration. Early Registration deadline 4/15/2019.

海外炎黄子孙中文及华夏文化速成中国合肥夏令营

作为华人我们有责任让下一代学习中文，掌握中文听、说、读、写的能力，了解并热爱中国文化，了解中国地理、历史，与同龄中国孩子交友互动、互相学习语言，参加公益活动，挣高中义工额度。让他们理解炎黄子孙的真正意义。

2020年6月7号至7月6号。由骄子文化交流公司承办、达福地区安徽同乡会及科大校友会协办。合作伙伴是合肥新华公学。孩子上午中文，下午和国内的中学生联谊及体育节目，周末参观历史古迹，义工和社会活动。和合肥新华公学同龄学生配对并居住在host family近距离学习，感知和热爱中国文化。以100%的中文语言，文化环境让孩子快速提高中文听、说、读、写的能力。

我们会随行领队全程跟队，帮助孩子适应国内生活，解决突发问题。

夏令营费用$1500（不含机票和高铁），包food/lodge/transportation。报名费$100/家。为了保证孩子们的安全和有效学习和安全，限制招收50-60名10岁及以上学生，有意愿的家长请RSVP参加。报名截止4月15日，截止期后报名需加收$100手续费。

早上的汉语和文化课：

• 以趣味性为引导，以启发性为方法，以故事性为主题（成语，典故，神话传说）
• 解说汉字结构，拼音注音，字义引申，使用，说文解字
• 由浅入深，适当穿插文化，地理，历史，诗词
• 激发孩子学习兴趣，让他们有成就感，增强学习信心

下午文体活动：

• 吃完中饭后一小时可学唱歌，听音乐
• 学下象棋，围棋，打扑克或其它游戏，卡拉OK
• 包括营末的5天黄山，宏村文化游

我们将参照北京语言大学出版社出版，杨寄洲主编的对外汉语系列教材施教。
